Marnell Carrao Associates has marked a significant stage at its M Resort, Spa and Casino with a topping-off event last week. The $1 billion project is on target to open in March in Las Vegas. The 390-room resort will offer nine restaurants, a wine cellar and tasting room, more than 60,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, a spa and fitness center, a 100,000-square-foot pool, and an events piazza. Future plans call for a 14-screen movie theater and 1 million square feet of retail, to be developed through a partnership with Taubman Center.
